The main purpose of my recent visit to Scotland was to travel on the Jacobite express from Fort William to Mallaig. The spectacular scenery along this 40 mile railway line is best seen in sunshine and I was lucky. I also drove via Kyle of Lochalsh and the bridge to Skye, once again the scenery was superb and the weather was good.
